Goal of the MC
Engaging citizens of the same neighborhood, village, municipality in an efficient and sustainable energy management of their house and in relation to their community. Making them aware of the potential and the assets their local community, village, region has to accelerate the energy transition. We teach them how to spot chances for energy saving and renewable energy producing projects in their close proximity. An interactive and playfull Masterclass "Village full of Power!" (Dorp vol Power). Target groups of this Masterclass are Citizens of rural areas. In the first place members of "Landelijke gilden" and their relatives, friends and neighbours. In a first part of this Masterclass we want to introduce the audience in to the Energy Transition teaching them how to save energy and how to produce their own Renewable energy at home. ISP designed an interactive and playful presentation with elements of a quiz leading the attendees step by step towards a "Home full of power". In the second part of the Masterclass key question is: What could we do together in our municipality? ISP created a game using an aerial view of the home town of the audience, aiming on spotting opportunities for energy saving projects as well as renewable energy projects in the town, village or municipality. ECCO projects that the community could initiate themselves. Together they go step by step towards a "Village full of power". In period 3.2 we managed to have already 2 try outs of this Masterclass and we are happy to announce that meanwhile 19 other villages ordered a Masterclass activity ‘Village full of power" in 2020!

Previous Requirements
- We need the exact location of the neighborhood/village/town for the purpose of preparing aerial photos of the living environment of the audience. - We do research to gather key figures on Energy consumption and renewable energy production of the territory/municipality where the audience lives

Program
"Village full of Power" is an interactive and playfull Masterclass (Powerful Village / Dorp vol Power!).
In a first part of this Master Class (45min à 1h) we want to introduce the audience in to the Energy Transition teaching them how to save energy and how to produce their own Renewable energy at home.
ISP designed an interactive and playful presentation (powerpoint) with elements of a quiz leading the attendees through a self-developed 6-step plan "Home full of power" for advising and supporting citizens in adopting sustainable and renewable energy systems in their homes.
The 6 Steps:
1. Do you know your home and your habits at home(how much energy is needed ,when and why?)
2. What does energy cost at home?
3. Which energy saving measures apply to your home? Tips and Tricks to save energy
4. Which RES apply toyour home?
5. Smart use of own produced energy;
6. Can we save and produce energy together? Can I be member of an energy cooperation?
Practice examples are given, and interaction and feedback are continuously stimulated.
